Al Dickenson

As President for life of the Whalers, Al regularly abuses his position by using the fines kitty to subsidise his summer lifestyle. A reliable batsman and catcher, it remains a mystery as to how his ‘spin’ bowling took so many wickets in the Whalers early years.

Career Highlight	Demolished the Pretenders with his slow mastery. A couple of centuries, including in our only ever victory vs Morden.
Career Lowlight	Trip to casualty after trying to hook the ball off his face. Yet to bowl a maiden over. Failing to find anyone responsible/reliable to run the website.
Most likely to be fined for	Any time he bowls. John McEnroe-esque towelling headband. Being on the phone to his taxi company while fielding.
